MISS VERMONT TEEN USA® 2012


Karsen Woods is the 5’6”, blue-eyed daughter of Nicole Marabella and Bill Woods. Together they reside in Westford, Vermont. Karsen studies as a junior at Essex High School while also attending Burlington Technical Center specializing in Medical and Sports Science. Her career ambition is to attend premedical school and pursue a career in Physical Therapy with a minor in Special Education. She also wishes to one day possess her own Physical Therapy Practice in order to assist people of all ages to overcome limitations that affect them physically. Karsen believes her one strongest talent is her ability to remain a strong leader under difficult conditions. Karsen’s favorite hobbies include skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, gymnastics and teaching her little sister everything she knows. She describes herself as outgoing, comical and genuine.

Crowned by Bridgett Martin, MISS VERMONT TEEN USA® 2011, Karsen will represent Vermont at the MISS TEEN USA® 2012 Pageant.

The remainder of the “Top 5” included:  First Runner-up Jillian Berno of Georgia; Second Runner-up Josephine Hudson of Concord; Third Runner-up Hunter Isabella DiGangi of South Burlington and Fourth Runner-up Taylor McAllister of East Bank. 

The Semi-finalists were: Erin Connor of Bridport, Kaylie Ann Flannigan of Castleton, Taylor Hough of Rutland, Alexina Federhen of Bennington and Sara Stryhas of Belmont.

  Taylor Hough was named Miss Photogenic and Kaylie Ann Flannigan was voted Miss Congeniality.
