MISS VERMONT USA® 2013
Sarah Westbrook is the 5’7” brown-eyed daughter of Wayne and Melinda Westbrook. She is a graduate of Simsbury High School and Community College of Vermont, and is currently attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and working as a group fitness instructor. With her degree she hopes to pursue her goals of becoming a certified health and wellness coach and certified trainer. Sarah believes she is an eternal optimist. She is capable of”… always remaining positive despite any circumstances” and has the ability to motivate others easily. Her favorite hobbies include Zumba classes, traveling, hiking, attending music festivals, karaoke and living a healthy and active lifestyle. She describes herself as genuine, confident and ambitious.
Having been crowned by Jamie Dragon, MISS VERMONT USA 2012, Sarah will represent Vermont in the MISS USA 2013 Pageant, which will be televised on the NBC television network.
The remainder of the “Top 5” included: First Runner-up Kandi Clark of Jeffersonville; Second Runner-up Caroline Kemp of Richmond; Third Runner-up Catherine Trudell of Fairfield and Fourth Runner-up Sarah Stenson of St. Johnsbury.
The Semi-finalists were: Dana Bingham of St. George, Mia Franzoni of South Burlington, Paige Carrara of Wallingford, Taylor Marthers of Danville and Myranda Benoit of Swanton.
Sarah Westbrook was named Miss Photogenic and Alyssa Johnson of St. Albans was voted Miss Congeniality.
