MISS VERMONT USA® 2016
Neely Fortune is the daughter of John and Jan Fortune of Burlington and a graduate of the University of Vermont where she studied Wildlife Biology Forestry.
Her career ambition is to achieve her Masters in Conservation Wildlife biology to help protect our environment and endangered mammals so that future generations can enjoy the mental, spiritual and health benefits of a healthy ecosystem.
Neely’s favorite hobbies include competing in Spartan Races/endurance races, adventure hiking, CrossFit, rock climbing, knitting hats and scarves, and vegetable gardening. She describes herself as adventurous, determined, and courageous.
Crowned by Jackie Croft, MISS VERMONT USA® 2015, Neely will represented Vermont in the MISS USA® 2016 Pageant.
The remainder of the “Top 3” included: First Runner-up Karly Fereday of South Burlington; Second Runner-up Joanna Nagle of Colchester.
Karly Fereday was named Miss Photogenic and Morgan Bazyk was voted Miss Congeniality.
